Quid pro quo – something for something. We all have our reasons for running, I’m trying to put my finger on mine. I don’t think it’s about keeping fit, it’s not for the fame, I’m definitely not after a sponsorship deal…hang on…do I actually enjoy this? It took years before I truly couldn’t wait to get out the door, but I think I’m close. The more I run the more I want to run, and the more I want to run the less I want from my run. Expect less and enjoy more – That’s the lesson (snippet here) from today’s listening of Born to Run.
